Christmas and the rest...

So here are a few pictures from Christmas, we had such a great holiday and we are so glad its over! Shaun surprised me on Wednesday with a new bedroom set, we looked a few months ago and he went back and bought it with out me knowing, I love it! Also Cooper has started rolling around the house he is so content just sucking on the end of the blinds, so cute!!

So three weeks after Shaun had his "snore surgery" he ended up in the emergency room twice and then the operating room and had to spend the night in the hospital, his nose would not stop bleeding, the scab that was covering the artery in his nose came off and would just not stop bleeding, it bled for the whole day pretty much, so they kept him over night, that's gonna be a pretty bill!!! Glad he's OK!

And for the most amazing news ever...

RYDER IS POTTY TRAINED!!!!

they say it takes about three days to train them, I would say more like five, he was so afraid to go number two:) in the toilet so by the fifth day he was good to go out in public!! I Love him so much and am so proud of him! For reward we are taking him to Pirate Island Pizza, and he gets anew toy! I think he feels so good about himself, he acts older and he's so happy every time he does it, I think he goes even if its just a little bit, cause he likes the reaction he gets! FUNNY to see him in his cute little underwear and his little bum!

Life is great, kids are great, Shaun is great, My voice is totally gone, but I am great too!

We could not believe the snow, Ryder and Shaun made a cute little snowman the next day . I love the snow I guess because we never get any so it has been really fun!

Cooper had carrots for the first time, I could not get it into his mouth fast enough, he is such an awesome baby!

I bought the boys matching outfits, they have pirate ships on them, Ryder is obsessed with pirates and treasure chests. Also Shaun had his "Snore Surgery" he is doing awesome and believe it, he does not snore, no more couch for me! The Saturday after Thanksgiving I put the tree up while the boys were asleep, and took this picture right after, sad to say the tree doesn't quit look like this any more, Ryder has replaced some of the ornaments with his toys. I was upset and my mom asked " who did you put the tree up for, you or the boys?" So I am kind of chillin' out! I just finished my Christmas shopping and wrapping, buying presents for people stresses me out so I am relieved to have this done! Shaun and I went to walmart to pick out my stocking stuffers, I had to remind him that he needed to fill my stocking(he forgot last year)! I don't know about you but I hate surprises, I don't know if its a control thing or what but this year I have not a clue what he has bought for me and it drives me bonkers!!! So many friends send out Christmas cards but I lack ambition, plus I am super duper busy with work so I will wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We love you all!

Saturday we went on our annual hay rack ride, we are supposed to sing Christmas carols, but this time we were taking care of screaming kids! FUN!! So one Sat. on my way to the gym I stopped at a yard sale and found this exer saucer and another fun toy for cooper, all in brand new condition! He loves it!!

We are constantly telling Ryder to get off of the baby, he lays on him and gets an inch away from his face, cooper likes it for like two seconds, and then gets annoyed!

Thanksgiving was so fun for me, all my family was here, cousins aunt and uncles that I never see so it was fun and then the next morning my mom and I went shopping we were up at 3 and were done about 7 and we got allot done, I am almost done with Christmas and that feels pretty good!!

Snugly Warm for Winter!!

So I had to post this cute picture of Cooper, it is rare he is on his tummy, Ryder was asleep so I was able to give him a little tummy time. He looks so Chill!!!:)

So once again my Father-in-law went way over and beyond this year for Christmas, I am so thrilled to have a fire place to keep this room warm, ever since we ripped our carpet out the room just isn't as warm, so now we have heat!!! Ryder sits and watches it, and compliments how awesome it is. Shaun is going to hang the TV on the wall, and I cant wait to have all the little projects around the house done! So thanks Dad McKean, you are so generous and kind!

Halloween Fun??

Ryder refused to wear the hood of his costume?

So I was super excited for Halloween this year cause Ryder was at the age that he kind of understood it... well he failed to have a nap that afternoon, so at 4:45 he fell asleep on the floor in his cute giraffe costume, so we had to wake him up to go to the trunk or treat that started at 5, needless to say a ten minute nap just didn't do it for him!!! We went to the church and had dinner , so I just left the bowl of candy on the trunk of my car and while we were eating three punk kids helped themselves to all of my candy bowl plus three other bowls, I guess they came out pretty good, considering it was a small trunk or treat, its just candy but its pretty sad when you get stuff stolen at a church event??? I loved that Shaun was able to be there with me, he works every Sunday so it was nice for people to put a face to his name! I am totally excited, Tuesday Shaun goes to the doctor for his snoring, it started out with me just leaving half way through the night and sleeping on the couch, but now I just pull the bed from the couch and sleep in the living room, yes this is a little odd but i cannot handle the extremely loud snoring, I have to say it is the worst sound ever when you are trying to fall asleep,and i still hear him through the walls!!! I hope we can solve this problem!! Cooper is starting to sleep through the night, which is great except I have milk coming out my eyeballs:) I just lay there waiting for him to wake up, just for example i pumped 12 ounces the other morning!!! Also the pregnancy weight is starting to slowly come off, thank heavens!! So there you have it, an update on the past few days!!

So allot has happened since I last posted so here I go...
#1 Shaun's dad for Christmas bought Shaun his 52 inch flat screen he has been drooling over for the last forever, I must say it is pretty fancy, Shaun likes it so much he has skipped the gym for the last 2 weeks and that is not good, hopefully this shall pass:)! Also we got faster Internet and its like a whole new computer, we are moving on up!!!
#2 I just got put in as Young Women's Secretary and I love it, I have always been in nursery or primary so its refreshing knowing i might get SOMETHING out of the three hours of church, Ryder is such a stink in sacrament meeting , we always end up out on the couches, and that's not to spiritually uplifting:) This to shall pass...RIGHT?
#3 Cooper has started eating rice cereal and loves it, at his 4 month he was a little under weight for his hieght so he is sleeping pretty good he is up just once now and that is really good!
#4 For Christmas last year we got Ryder a battery powered jeep and up until a few days ago he wanted not a dang thing to do with it, so now he goes out side and drives his jeep, I love that he goes out and some how comes in covered head to toe in dirt, but it gets him out of my hair for a while!
I hope this satisfies the people who tell me daily to update, this is as good as it gets!

Its been a while since you have all seen our "little Coop", he has gotten so big I can't believe how time passes. I bought a Bumbo and I love the way he looks in it! It is alot different with the second kid, I can't just set cooper on the ground with Ryder around he sits on him, so I am wondering if Cooper will ever crawl?!Anyways Ryder gets just as much joy out of the bumbo as cooper does! I almost forgot I moved to a new Salon, It is so amazingly nice I never thought I would leave Dixie Chixs but things got a little to "rule book" and way to much drama, so change is scary but so exciting, so my new place is called Salon Sienne, located in the new Bell Tower Courtyard!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! Well I am Great, kids are great, Husbands great!

So for the past month my house has been torn completely apart. Shaun ripped out our carpet and baseboards and layed the most beautiful floors down and put up new molding and on top of all that bought me new furniture(we had to get new stuff, our dumb epileptic old dog peed on the couch) anyways I just found the area rug i was looking for so now my house is starting to feel complete and i wanted to show it off!!! Ryder thinks he needs to sleep on the new furniture every night so that's been a challenge. Cooper is getting so big so fast it is so crazy how fast they grow, I still feel pretty overwhelmed with being a mom of two and going back to work, I would love to be a stay at home mom, but we need to take advantage of Shaun's work schedule, so hats off to all you stay at home moms I am enjoying working and getting a break from it all for now!

i am sure most of you know i had my second baby boy, cooper Brent Mckean (Brent after my dad)! It has been so much fun and very challenging, having two is a whole new experience! I have one more month before i have to go back to work, so i am trying to take it all in!!I am feeling really good accept my self esteem, getting back into shape is a pain in my rear, all of you who jump right back into your pre- pregnancy pants i curse you all! (Stacy). I have been in search for a good parenting book something that talks about disciplining and stuff like that so if anyone knows of a good one let me know! anyways i will try and post some pictures, you all know i have never had any luck with it!

Yes its true, The internet guy just left, and he was the greatest! He taught me things that I never knew, I am now cool like everyone else! So I know a few weeks have passed but I have to say that lunch with you girls was so much fun!!! We need to take turns arranging some kind of get together! Stacy if you see this I have had family down for a reunion, so I will be calling you later after Ryder goes to bed!!! So this weekend we spent some time at the park and it was so cold and windy, I love when its fall for a few days in St. George!! I am so excited to have the internet at home, although it could be bad cause of online shopping!!!! My life is kind of getting back in shape, Shaun has had half of the garage in my kitchen, he is building some of the prettiest enclosed shelves in the garage, so last week I moved it out side and I have my kitchen back!!!!

It's Sunday so its time to update, if you did not already know I dont have internet at home so every sunday just before my mothers greatest sunday dinner, I hop onto the computer! We are looking around for GOOD and CHEAP internet so if anyone has any tips let me know! So Ryder has HAPPILY gone to nursery for the second time, I thought is was going to be the greatest thing, but I kind of miss the fight I have with him every sunday, dont judge, but I almost fell asleep in sunday school, I am just not used to sitting still!!! Ryder in the past week has started talking in sentences, and it is really great...I think??? This morning I said "Let's go get you some milk". and he says back to me "Apple Juice". I have been trying to not give him sugary drinks but he refuses to just have water, so you can only imagine how that went down! My family is doing just great, pretty much the same thing every week!! I look forward to Sundays to catch up with everyone on here, so thanks to everyone!!!

This past week was really great Stacy came down with her two super cute kids, and we were able to hang out a little bit! On Tuesday she came over to my house and we thought that we could visit and catch up... Boy were we WRONG, I think the whole time we were telling them to be nice or to share, it was very tiring!!! The whole time i was thinking NO MORE KIDS!!! Ryders already busy enough. Also on Tuesday, I painted my bathroom this really pretty green, I started at 10:30 and finished at 1:30 thats pretty darn good considering Ryder was running around! This past week has been super busy at work so thats really good, everythings going great!

Ok so we went up to ogden for a cousins wedding and we decided to make a trip to the Zoo since Ryder is at the age where he loves animals and the different sounds they make, I guess you could call that a vacation, we went up on a Friday and left Saturday afternoon, it was way to fast and we were way busy the whole time, so not to much relaxing! So these are pictures from the wedding and the zoo. My dad took the one of Ryder on the bench by all the flowers, It is my favorite!

So I know its been a while since i have written anything!! but i have just know figured out my password, so we are back in buisness. So today me, Stacy and mckala went to the park with our kids, ate pizza and cooked in the sun, literally there was no shade!!! Its so fun now that we have kids! Its so fun to read about everyone, you all have so much to say! This last week Ryder has had a super hot fever, it makes me feel so sad, but I think its the only time he likes to snuggle with me, so I take advantage of it!!
